I am fortunate indeed to do what I love for a living. For as long as I can remember, I have been cooking for family, then for others, as I built a career doing the thing I am most passionate about, cooking great food using quality ingredients and fresh produce - there is no substitute for either!
Before launching Annabelle J’s Kitchen, I was a partner in Citrus Tree Catering, a most rewarding 4 years providing bespoke catering to valued clients in the New Forest area, the Test Valley, Hampshire and, at times, further afield.
Prior to jointly forming Citrus Tree Catering, I was the personal Chef to the Scheckter family, Laverstoke Park, Hampshire, for 6 years. This role went beyond cooking for the family and included, among other things, creating tasting menus for Laverstoke’s produce customers and catering on-site events. One of my career highlights was cooking for a group of high-profile celebrity chefs dining at Laverstoke, from whom I received a standing ovation (I won’t forget that night!).
As the personal cook to Lord and Lady Brabourne at the Broadlands estate for 3 years, I enjoyed further career highlights, none more so than meeting and having the opportunity to cook for Queen Elizabeth II.
Annabelle J’s Kitchen is a continuation of my culinary journey, delivering menu favourites and adding new and exciting dishes my catering menus.
